Response Timing and Procedures. We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Categories of Personal Information We Sell or "Share".
During the past 12 months, mac-tech has not sold Personal Information for monetary consideration. For the limited purpose of delivering and measuring targeted online advertising, however, we have "shared" (as that term is defined under the California Privacy Rights Act) the following categories of Personal Information with third-party advertising networks and social-media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook), and LinkedIn:
mac-tech does not sell Sensitive Personal Information and does not knowingly sell or share Personal Information about individuals under 16 years of age. We may disclose Sensitive Personal Information to trusted service providers and contractors that process data on our behalf under written agreements limiting its use to the services requested. You may opt out of the sharing described above at any time by selecting "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer or by adjusting your preferences in the "Cookie Settings" panel; we also honor browser signals sent via the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Do Not Track. California Business & Professions Code Section 22575(b) provides that California residents are entitled to know how a website operator responds to "Do Not Track" ("DNT") browser settings. DNT is a feature offered by some browsers which, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked, such as by third-party ad networks, social networks, and analytic companies. We do not currently take actions to respond to DNT signals, because a uniform technological standard has not yet been developed. Our Website is not directed to, and we do not intend to or knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information online from, children under the age of 16. If a child under 16 has provided Personal Information to us, we encourage the child's parent or guardian to contact us through the contact information provided below to request that we remove the information from our systems. mac-tech uses third‑party payment processors (currently Stripe and QuickBooks) that are independently responsible for the security of your payment card data and comply with the PCI‑DSS standard. mac-tech does not store full payment card numbers.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—including encryption at rest and in transit, role‑based access controls, and annual penetration testing—to protect personal information. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When retention is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize data in accordance with our internal schedule.
