1. Acceptance of terms:
   • By using any of the services provided by mac-tech, LLC, free or commercial, including the information found on this site, you agree to our terms of service as stated below.
   • If you do use or request any of the commercial services provided by the mac-tech Group, you must be over 18 years of age and legally able to enter business agreements. If acting on behalf of a corporate entity of group you must be authorized to place work orders and initiate service calls that constitute an expense to your organization.
   • By placing an order for service, you agree to have read and understood the terms of service and associated cost.
   • mac-tech, LLC reserves the right to revise and append these terms without prior notice. Changes apply to all services rendered from the time of change.
2. Description of services:
   • All materials and intellectual property produced for mac-tech, LLC in the course of business or assigned research shall be and remain property of mac-tech, LLC. The services rendered to the client constitute a license of the use of materials, research and work by mac-tech, LLC for a specific entity of work, and not a transfer of ownership thereof. Unauthorized re-use, furnishing or disclosure of the same to others is expressly forbidden.
3. Disclaimer and limitations:
   • Any service rendered is without expressed and or implied warranties. If not otherwise specified in writing, the due compensation for our work is independent of the success as perceived or realized by the customer.
   • The services rendered by mac-tech are best-effort only.
   • mac-tech will not be held liable for accidental damage, loss of data, loss of use or consequential losses.
4. Compensation and travel:
   • mac-tech offers professional services that are associated with a fee. The fees are computed with the applicable hourly rate, if not otherwise specified, times the consulting time* plus any expenses or - if so specified - compensation for travel**. Local sales tax may apply.
5. Cancellations and refunds:
   • There is a minimum of one hour charge for service requests cancelled or re-scheduled within 24 hours prior to the time scheduled. Applicable travel time may be added to the charge.
   • Refunds can not be issued without exception. Follow-up and additional services free of charge will only be considered for clients in good standing and at the sole discretion of mac-tech management.
6. Terms of payment:
   • Payment is due using a personal check or cash equivalent but not cash at the time of service.
   • We may extend the courtesy of credit to clients after a positive payment history is established. Payment is due within 15 days for clients with credit, however the terms of credit are individually negotiated. No rights or entitlement for credit or work without compensation can be deducted from any past business or correspondence with mac-tech, LLC.
   • A finance charge of 19% APR applies to all overdue balances after 15 days.
   • There is a $30 fee for returned checks in addition to bank charges.
   • Outstanding accounts may be closed and will accrue unspecified additional fees.
   • The minimum charge is one-hour; additional time is billed in thirty minute increments thereafter.
   • Travel expenses do NOT apply for on-site services in Manhattan south of 96th street. Telephone support is billed at the same rate and under the same terms but in 30 minute increments.
   • Please pay your invoice on time and help us stay in business.
7. Satisfaction:
   • Complaints and disputes are to be discussed with management. Our engineers and personnel are not authorized or obligated to negotiate on behalf of the mac-tech, LLC consultants group.
